Like other forward-thinkers willing to follow wherever the premise ALL IS MIND may lead her, Mrs. Laird found herself propelled into the fast currents of modern thought to produce Christian Science Re-Explored ? the most important presentation of Metaphysical Science since Mary Baker Eddy?s day. Published in 1965, Christian Science Re-Explored was written from Mrs. Laird?s personal and spiritual experience. Copies are available from The Institute of Metaphysical Science.

All is One is best described by the following excerpt:
"Formerly, we did not know any better than to try to change appearances. The living of life was a constant struggle to get rid of problems or protect ourselves from problems in order to make a "personal me" concept happy and comfortable. Experience has taught us that this is an impossible achievement. Now we know that whatever the appearance, it is good. Reality, whether you see it as good or bad."

Although a stretch of a read for anyone new to Consciousness studies, this book is highly recommended.
Margaret Laird clarifies the fact that all of one's human living happens because we are continually creating it from our own Consciousness. This divine Consciousness is infinitely more than a human capacity to be aware.
Friends, foes, circumstances, illness, health, chaos and anarchy all exist for the self-recognition of this Consciousness.
"In identifying Self Consciousness with and as Mind, your Divinity gives you a new humanhood."

Practice not Profession was written by Margaret Laird to show the importance of actually living the fact that thoughts are things and how we think is what we experience as our everyday world. In order to make a difference in one's life, it is necessary.
Everything is a state of Consciousness or Mind experienced as we believe or perceive. What we call matter is literally mind or thought forms. Margaret Laird writes, "What we think we see, feel or hear is not objective to the consciousness which we are, but is subjective as the consciousness which we are."

This booklet is thought provoking as it presents the view that "temporary means" for dealing with problems do not exist to be right or wrong but are Reality appearing in the language of present discernment. Radical reliance is the acknowledgment that in all happenings, regardless of the view, Principle is the happening. You will find this booklet stimulating reading that you won't want to put down. It's a spiritual adventure and an eye-opener.

Among Margaret Laird's many writings is a paper entitled Reciprocal Being. The ideas expressed in this highly informative manuscript were so far ahead of their time that they speak to many of today's Scientists, Microbiologists and Physicists.
She states that Reciprocal Being in Science is the Reflexive Action of Universal Consciousness, Mind, Reflecting Itself to Itself; Mind turning back on Itself; always subjective but never static, since its Infinite Awareness of Itself is in its Being or Very Self manifestation. Man being the Reflex Image of Mind, everything is a part of Consciousness, since All Consciousness is Mind.
A leading Scientist of today Gerald Schroeder, Physicist Micro Biologist and author opens his latest book "The Hidden Face of God" with a chapter entitled You Are the Universe Come Alive. He states a single consciousness, an all encompassing wisdom pervades the universe. The discoveries of Science, those that probe the brain/Mind interface, have moved us to the brink of a startling realization: All existence is the expression of Wisdom. In the laboratories we experience it as information, first physically as articulated energy, then condensed to the form of matter. Every particle, every being from atom to human appears to have within it a level of information, conscious Wisdom. There is no longer a separation of Physics from Metaphysics.
Reciprocal Being is a valuable contribution to the study of Metaphysical Science.

Still thinking the person you see in the mirror and call I is all there is to you? Reading "The Personal Concept" will change that view. It will change the view of a limited and personal sense of your Self to the unlimited magnificent Being that you are.
The instinct is natural to go searching here and there to "find" your "Self," since Truth is pressuring us to be all that we are; and, while it can be fun to read spiritual books, listen to tapes and attend seminars, it's nice to know that all knowledge is unfolding from within and manifesting in discernible form.

Material referring to her experience with the Christian Science organization has been eliminated. "There is magic in the intuitions of Reality, the self-revealing knowledge that is Soul. The concept of the universe 'as a world of pure thought' throws new light on every sensory experience." Margaret Laird.

A volume of original metaphysical poems accompanied by black and white photography. Example below:
The root of the word presence: "To Be,"
Defines Mind's all sourcing presence to me.
To be present with, is to Be,
And what I see when I Be, is Me.
The mirror of my world, seen through the eyes of Science,
Is the I Am that I Am, born of capital Self reliance.
Acknowledging perfection, and living that fact,
Frees from duality, keeps my world all intact.
Radiant Reality, is the field where I stand,
For being the Presence, has my Mind right at hand.
My health, wealth, and happiness are never out there,
They're here, as Love's presence, releasing all care.
This view makes it clear that the little ego can't act,
And that one causative presence is forever the fact.

This book is a series of letters written by James Heaton to his son Ted during World War II. Against the seemingly unusual background of a devoted father writing letters to a son at war, the author has told of a rich and inspiring dedication of faith in Mind. As an earnesr parent he writes from years of thoughtful research and contemplation on a subject close to his heart. He writes of the practical purpose of the teachings of Jesus - the solutions to everyday problems which he proposed and the hostility he aroused.
A Harvard University Professor says of the book, "a lightly written serious book, with a serious philosophy of the real." The author closes by saying "to those who might read these letters and think they ought to be serious, ascetic or morosely determined---remember that if your thinking-doing isn't fun then you are not truly being Mind, God, Life. So be sure you are being and one sure test of true being is "Are you enjoying it?"

Ann Johnstone has a charming way of presenting profound Truths by relating a simple myth illustrating the creativity, satisfaction and joy that can be revealed by one's investigation of the unknown - that Presence which our 5 senses "miss" but which is responsible for every thought, act, and happening.
